Jon Bon Jovi on Ed Sheeran being a brat

Jon Bon Jovi remembers Ed Sheeran’s ‘abrupt’ move

Jon Bon Jovi just called Ed Sheeran a “little brat” for turning down a chance to collaborate.

In a recent interview, the 62-year-old rock icon revealed that he had hoped to team up with Sheeran for his latest project, but the timing didn’t work out.

“I would have loved to have him on this, and it would have been perfect,” Bon Jovi shared Sky News.

“But Ed and I discussed it right away, and he said, ‘I’ve done too many things. I’ve got to put my record out there before I can do anything else.’ And I said, ‘Okay, you little brat, that’s fine.’ But no, I love him.”

However, that does not rule out a guest appearance. Bon Jovi hinted that Sheeran – or another star collaborator – could appear during his upcoming set Forever Tour.

“Who knows?” he teased. “Who knows who’s in town for the day?”

The Forever The tour kicks off in Edinburgh on 28 August 2026, followed by Dublin on 30 August and concludes in London at Wembley Stadium on 4 September.

It also marks Bon Jovi’s long-awaited return to the stage after his vocal cord surgery in 2022.
