Josh Allen is already over his most valuable player award.
Buffalo Bills Quarterback won the award last February in a tight race with Lamar Jackson, aimed at his second equal and third gathered.
Allen was emotional that night, but apparently it was a one-night party.

In a recent conversation with CBS, he was asked what a MVP was doing for him, and he paused before shrugging his shoulders and immediately pointed to getting better as a team.
“It’s such a cool performance in terms of, it’s like a career performance in your field. And that’s the cool part of it,” Allen continued. “But apart from that, it’s just a recognition that you … enjoying at night and you forget it kind of. I hear it, the songs and the crowd love it. But I’m just trying to find other ways to get better and help this team win football matches.”
It sounded a bit like what Scottie Scheffler said before the open championship (as he won) about being a top golfer who wasn’t “fulfilling.” Funny enough, Allen brought it up when asked if it was “crazy” that he can play so well and things don’t go his way.
“It’s crazy. But at the same time, it helps put things in perspective about what really matters in your life and you find out what it’s pretty fast,” Allen said. “Scottie Scheffler had the really good interview just before the open that spoke a lot to me, and I really appreciate he shared these words.

“It’s a bit crazy where you get out here and do everything you can for a quick pleasure of it, and then you’re on to the next. It’s like the MVP award. I don’t look back and think about that night. It happened and it was over with and I will never think about it again, to be honest. I have gone on to try to help this team win football games this year.”
Scheffler’s comments drummed a ton of conversation.
“This is not a fulfilling life. It meets from the feeling of implementation, but it does not meet from a feeling of the deepest places in your heart,” Scheffler said.

Maybe Allen can feel different if he finally gets a Super Bowl ring. His next search for it begins on September 7th.
