Josh Allen crushed after losing to the chiefs again in playoffs: ‘To be champs, you have to beat champs’

Kansas City Chiefs once again confetti fall into their advantage in a crucial game as they won the AFC championship for the third equal season to give themselves a chance for the Super Bowl story in New Orleans next month.

On the second sideline, the Buffalo bills were turned off when they saw Samaje Perine run for the first downward, needed to seal the 32-29 victory.

After the game, Quarterback Josh Allen let out his feelings when asked about his feelings after another loss for chiefs during the postal season.

“It’s just not fun,” he said after releasing a sigh. “But to be the Champs, you had to beat the masters and we didn’t do it tonight.”

Allen is now 0-4 against Chiefs in the post-season, so the victory with the regular season over Kansas City at Bills’ Highmark Stadium doesn’t mean a thing in the end for this team or its quarterback.

However, the ball was in Allen’s hands to change the Winless strip late in the fourth quarter. But with the two-minute warning and fourth-and-5 on the scoreboard, Chiefs called the perfect pressure and Allen launched a prayer downfield to the tight end Dalton Kincaid.

It hit his arms but became incomplete. Then, with the bills down three points, Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs knew a couple of first downturns corresponded to another Super Bowl trip.

“They looked well,” Allen said when asked what he saw before the fourth-down snap. “So nothing in my first cadence. They slid to the left, the corner came … yes.”

There wasn’t much else that Allen could say just minutes after being just short again on Bills’ first trip to the Super Bowl since 1993. AFC title trophy.

“I have so much respect for Josh, man,” he told CBS Sports’ Jim Nantz. “He’s a real competitor, a real warrior, a great footballer. They always come down to the cord. Fortunately, we were on the winning side this time. I’m excited to come down to New Orleans. Let’s go with history.”

The bills would look at another game to hopefully give the franchise its first ever Super Bowl-Those lost the notorious four ranging from 1990-93-but they will have to change it in 2025.

Allen could get a massive personal recognition as he is an MVP finalist and is expected to be a Frontrunner with Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson for their work during the 2024 campaign.

However, Allen will say that he is not interested in individual results right now. His bills lost again in the hands of chiefs and they will have months to pot over it before a new season begins.

“You can either get it done or you can’t. We didn’t get it done,” Allen said.
