Josh Allen does not see an eye-to-eye with his own team about one of the biggest controversy in the sport.
The Buffalo calculations were one of 22 teams to vote to ban tush -push -24 was necessary to officially make the game illegal.
However, Quarterback himself, who has the ability to find the end zone with his legs himself, said he thinks it should remain part of the game.

“I’m a great belief in, if you can’t stop it, keep running it, right?” Allen told Sports Illustrated.
“I think there are a few teams that do better than others, but then you look at a few teams trying to do it and it doesn’t have the same success. Because, what they might not practice it or two, they don’t have guys to do it. And just because a few teams do better than others, I don’t want to be forbidden.
“I understand the profits know what it brings, and that’s why I don’t really swing one way or the other. I try to play the game based on the interpretation of the rules. And if it was the rule that was adopted, you know we will find another way. But I feel like if you can use it to your advantage, use it to your advantage. If you don’t like it, you know it, you know?”

Green Bay Packers began the proposal for rule change, which would have banned “an offensive player to push a teammate who was set up directly behind the snapper and receives snap, immediately at Snap.” The proposal added that a penalty would be assessed on any offensive player who violated the rule.
Supporters of the play and those who oppose it presented both strong arguments while the league expressed concern for security.
Rich McKay, chairman of the NFL competition committee, said in April that the problems go beyond security because there was not enough data to say if it is a dangerous game. The league has said that no injuries have been reported from Tush Push.

During the tush -push meeting with owners, Philadelphia Eagles team owner Jeffrey Lurie allegedly brought Jason Kelce into the meeting to explain why Tusspush should be stored in the game. Eagles have been most successful with the play for the past few years, and Kelce’s input was apparently enough for owners to give approval of the ban.
