Joshua Jackson made rare remarks about ‘Doctor Odyssey’s Cancellations

Joshua Jackson broke his silence after ABC canceled Doctor Odyssey follows only one season.

In a recent chat with PeopleReflected the 47-year-old actor on his journey on the show and wanted fans to see the show with the same energy.

When he expressed his love for the show, Jackson said he “really, really enjoyed the experience.”

“It was a really good group of people and it was a really fun show,” but he shared his remarks about the unpredictability of the industry, where he said, “This is a crazy and difficult business, and no matter what reasons for those who would not move on with it, they do not actually tell these things.”

“I’m going to miss the gang with certainty,” Jackson admitted his love for the fellow crew.

Jackson hoped that fans would get “the same thing we got out of it” and noticed, “It was a beautiful, over-the-top kind of experience that was nothing else on TV, I don’t think.”

He continued to express his grief over the canceled show and said, “I’m sorry we’re not going to go back and do it again, but I really enjoyed the time we got to do so.”

As for the future of Doctor Odyssey, Jackson shared, “They might be able to do that show with someone else.”

He further added that his contract “lapsed” and admitted “I have no idea what their plans are, they haven’t told me, but I don’t hold my breath coming back.”
