Aaron Judge heard what Boston Red Sox Rookie Hunter Dobbins had to say about his New York Yankees.
Instead of talking back, he let his bat speak on Sunday night.
Before his Sunday start, Dobbin’s Boston Herald told him he would rather retire than sign with Yankees. Judge said before the game he was “a little surprised” Dobbins, a lifelong Red Sox fan thanks to his Die-Harde father, made that comment.

Judge wasted no time getting back to Dobbins on the field and crushing a 97 mph Fastball 436 meters to the right centers for a two-run home drive.
The ball left the referee’s bat of 108.6 mph, and everyone in the Yankee Stadium audience knew the excitement already there with Dobbins’ comments that made national headlines.

“I’ve only heard Ken Griffey say that, so I was a little surprised,” said Dobbins’ comments via ESPN.
He referred to Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., who said he would not sign with Yankees during his career after seeing how the franchise treated his father, Ken Griffey Sr. while playing for him.
In the end, Dobbins and Red Sox got the last laughter. Despite abandoning these two races in the first place, Dobbin was solid against the Yankees lineup after that. He allowed another earned race and four hits in total over his five laps of the work.

Boston’s violation also midway through the rivalry gap, where Kristian Campbell hit a two-run Homer at the top of the fifth lap to get them on the board. Then, at the top of the sixth lap, a five-plot was put on the hometown thanks to Carlos NarvĂ ez’s three-run Homer.
Red Sox added two races each at the top of the eighth and ninth lap to eventually beat their Al East-Rival 11-7 and win their first series in the year two matches to one.
Judge went on the farm once again at the bottom of the ninth lap to cut Red Sox’s lead to four, go to the bullp in the right centers to end his night 3-for-4 with three scored races and four RBI.

Despite the loss this weekend, Yanke is still leading the 39-25 division. However, Red Sox might find some new life that beat one of the best teams in baseball in this series. They are now 32-35 that goes into the week, where they will again see New York with a weekend night match at Fenway Park in Boston.
Currently, Dobbins is meant to meet Yankees in his next start.
