Jui-F leader wants Sharia Law implemented in merged districts

Wana:

Jamiat Urvila-e-Islam Fazl (Jui-F) Senior Leader Mufti Kifayatullah has demanded enforcement of Sharia law in the merged districts and instructed his supporters to refer to the Taliban killed in their fight against the military as “Shaheed”.

While approaching a collection of religious figures and the public at Madrassa Jamia Tehsil Koran in Tehsil Shakai, Kifayatullah said the Taliban or militants would lay their weapons and become a military in the state if the Sharia law was enforced in the merged districts.

“The Taliban has sacrificed huge victims of Islam and Islamic values. If the government could tolerate the FCR in the merged districts for seven decades, why can’t it change the constitution and advertise the Sharia law in these districts?” Kifayatullah added.

He assured the government that they would force the Taliban not to push for the enforcement of Sharia across the country – in Khyber -pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit -Baltistan, Punjab, Sindh or Balochistan – which they knew that the establishment would not tolerate such demand.

“We do not want any more bloodshed, not a single shot fired, and we demand that our generals advertise Sharia in the merged districts,” Kifayatullah said.

“The Pakistani security forces are Muslim and we have no Krangel with them. But we are unhappy with the generals’ policies that have brought the turmoil to the country,” he added.
