Former New England Patriots star Julian Edelman played only fantasy ball earlier in his NFL career.

And when he did, he fully utilized the knowledge he had as a member of one of the NFL’s best teams to get an advantage in his fantasy League.

“I worked out like half of our lineup,” Edelman told Pakinomist Digital. “I wanted to draft me and [Wes] Welker, and we had [Aaron] Hernandez at the time because I knew the game plan, he had to fed the rock, I had a little insider trading knowledge about it. ”

Edelman added that he “had to” have Brady in his fantasy lineup too. He also clarified that there was no money involved in the league he was a part of.

But when the Star Wide recipient stopped playing fantasy as an active player, he was still brutally reminded of his own role in the leagues of many patriots fans.

“Every time you would walk down the street in Boston or anywhere, you always would here some, like, it wouldn’t necessarily be a grip, but like ‘you got me 10 points in fantasy! Thanks Christmas!’ Or it was’ only three catches?

Then, when Edelman withdrew from the NFL in 2021 and Dove back in fantasy rows, he was on the other side of the disappointment when a key player bursts.

Edelman said the worst fantasy sale he has ever made, which also made him “lose sleep” was to choose Joe Burrow in 2023. Fresh from a season when Burrow was an MVP candidate, and one of the best fantasy players in 2022, Quarterback’s acting fell in 2023 before a wrist injury ended his season. It left Edelman out to dry.

“One hurt me because the year before he turned it on and I was addicted to these numbers and I lost some sleep over it, so I took a little sleep tab,” Edelman said.

However, Edelman said he never gave Burrow any grief for the downy year because he remembered how it felt to go down the street and heard only six prisoners this week? Come on Bub! ”

Edelman also said that Burrow’s disappointing 2023 would not prevent him from encouraging fantasy players to work out Bengals -quarterback this season.

Edelman hopes to use his knowledge and experience to help Fantasy players make decisions that will prevent them from “losing sleep” with his new “Sleeper Picks” spotlighting series, in partnership with Sleeping Tab Brand Unison.

Edelman will offer similar knowledge to the “insider trading” he used when he played fantasy ball as a member of the patriots earlier in his NFL career.

“With my sleeping choices now I am very much picked up with all these coaches, players and staff departments, so these sleeping choices will be pretty good,” Edelman said.
