Peshawar:
Five people, including two women, lost their lives, while three others were missing from a boat capsule at the popular tourist destination in Shahi Bagh in Kalam Valley in the Swat district, local police and rescue officials said Sunday.
The rescue employee said seven members of a family from Marran enjoyed a boat trip on Saturday as the boat overturned in the river. Police reported that two women out of the seven people on board were confirmed dead while one child and two others remain missed.
Local residents managed to save a child and the boat operator alive. However, the search operation was underway for the three victims, including a child.
