Kansas City Chiefs: Trump says the White House is planning to celebrate Super Bowl Life -Sejr

President Donald Trump revealed on Saturday that he invited Kansas City Chiefs to the White House to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl life victory, which was canceled due to Coronavirus Pandemic.

Chiefs defeated San Francisco 49ers in the game played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in February 2020. A month later, the sports world was closed when Covid-19 spread throughout the world.

Trump did the revelation in an interview with Outkicks Clay Travis.

“I look forward to having (Philadelphia) Eagles,” he told Travis while on the Air Force One before the NCAA Wrestling Championships. “And another thing we get Kansas City managers after that because they missed their turn because of Covid.”

Philadelphia did not visit the White House after their victory over New England Patriots in February 2018. NFL players and Trump swept over athletes kneeling during the national anthem at that time. Trump told Travis that some players, coaches and the team’s general manager and owner would come, but the invitation was drawn in the middle of the upset.

This time Eagles seems to be ready to celebrate with the president of Washington.

The White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier this month that Eagles will come on April 28.

“I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that was not sent or sent. We will correct the post: We sent an invitation. They accepted enthusiastically and you will see them here on April 28,” she said.
