Jay-Z and Kanye West have been close friends for a long time, but now they are anything but friends.
He claimed that the reason for this was politics. In a side-plated post, the 48-year-old claimed that the music mogul opposed his political views while working on the track prison.
“Why should Jay Z say ‘No Red Hat’ in prison,” he wrote at X, referring to his then support to President Donald Trump.
He continued, “It **** tore me to my soul. We fought for it and he either told me to leave that line there or take off my verse.”

Since Prison, Jay-Z and Kanye have not cooperated and it was part of the latter album, Donda.
