Islamabad:
On has successfully completed the Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) Works on the main course (07L/25R) in Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, far ahead of the plan.
The PQC phase, which began at the end of December 2024 as part of the great Runway refreshment project, was officially completed on July 30, 2025, almost a month prior to the original time limit.
Progresses were achieved by using advanced slip form pavement technology and design change around the clock, as sustained momentum despite operational challenges.
In parallel with the PQC works, the flight lighting system has also reached a larger milestone.
