Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called on Karachi’s business community to directly tackle their complaints with him rather than complain to others and claim that Sindh remains under PPP’s management.

In an event held in honor of Karachi’s dealers, Bilawal assured them of his full support to solve their challenges.

“If you have complaints against the minister of chief, the ministers or the bureaucrats, bring them to me. There is no need to seek solution elsewhere, ”he said.

Bilawal talked about the port city’s transformation and said that the days of extortion and forced closures of industries are over.

“What Karachi experienced in the past is history. Businesses are now operating without fear, and workers are no longer forced into political collections, ”he added.

He approached dealers directly and asked, “Have I ever created you problems? Why do I want you to meet questions under my or this government’s name? “

Bilawal criticized the federal government for excluding SINDH in key political decisions, especially in the field of energy rates and electricity supply.

“Decisions are made in Islamabad without consulting us and leaving provinces to carry the consequences,” he said.

He emphasized Sindh’s potential as an energy hub and pointed to its enormous coal reserves. “Sindh has as much coal as Saudi Arabia has oil. We demand affordable electricity for everyone, ”he said.

Bilawal accused federal leaders of misleading allegations of straining.

“Tell me a city in Sindh where Load-Shedding is ended. Therefore, we are pursuing our own power projects without needing federal approval, ”he declared.

The PPP chairman highlighted successful public-private partnership initiatives in Sindh, which he said generated profits and delivered results.

Bilawal ended up calling for mutual cooperation and said, “Let’s work together to make sure Karachi thrives, and Sindh is leading the way in development.”

Bilawal’s response comes two days after Karachi’s business community called for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz to act as Sindh’s Chief Minister, referring to her performance in Punjab.

During a meeting with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday, a senior trader noted: “Give us Maryam Nawaz Sharif for a while and you can take Murad Ali Shah.”

The proposal was met with resounding support from all the traders present who supported the idea of the Maryam heading Sindh’s government. Iqbal was seen smiling at the proposal, but refrained from commenting.
