Karachi police successfully reunited two missing children with their parents.

The children were reported missing in the Korangi area of ​​Karachi, which received a call to the Sindh police helmet line, “Helpline 15.”

A concerned citizen reported on the children’s residence that led to an immediate response from police.

The officers arrived immediately, took the children into their care and began a search to find their parents.

After collecting the necessary details, the authorities are traced to the children’s home address and returned them safely to their parents who expressed their gratitude to the police for their effective efforts.

Earlier, a seven-year-old boy, Sarim, who was missed in the Baitul Anam apartments in North Karachi since January 7, was found dead in the underground water tank in connection on Saturday.

Despite extensive search efforts from his family, police and the anti-violent crime cell (AVCC), including attacks and detention of a suspect, no clues were found with regard to his whereabouts.

During the search, a false demand for ransom was sent via WhatsApp, which added the family’s distress. Sarim’s body was discovered with several injuries, which suggested torture.

Post-Mortem confirmed injuries and the exact cause of death is pending chemical analysis. The discovery shocked society with Sarim’s parents deeply grieving.
