Karachi suspends 11 vaccinators in the middle of polio -campaign failure

The Commissioner of Karachi has issued a suspension order for 11 vaccinators due to negligence during the ongoing polio vaccination campaign.

The suspended staff, including vaccinators from District Malir and District West, have been instructed to report to the Commissioner House.

The message was issued under the guidance of Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, following the instructions of the Chief Secretary.

The suspended persons include Zafar Khaskheli, Ali Gul Kalhoro, Sarfraz Kattar, Nooruddin Jakhrani, Mazhar Khan Bajrani, Amanullah, Saleem Raza, Munshi Mumtaz Kalhoro, Abid Shah, Dehni Bakhsh and Abdul Qadir.

The Commissioner has made it clear that absence or negligence during the polio campaign will not be tolerated. Additional strict actions will be taken in the event of continued deficiencies in the polio driven.

Chief Secretary for Sindh, Asif Haider Shah, emphasized the need for district administration, income department, local government officials and city employees to actively help polio teams in the field.

He warned that a strict action will be taken against any government employees found absent from their polio tasks.
