New York Giants Great Carl Banks came on a spat on social media with radio personality Gregg Giannotti on Monday when the reaction to New York Knicks’ season ending in an anti -climactic way poured in.

Giannotti was the biggest problems that Knicks had, pointing to part of the problem as Karl-Anthony Towns’ performance during the year and on top of his annual salary.

“At the core he is a loser,” Giannotti said at WFAN. “That’s their biggest problem. The guy is a loser. He’s a losing player. He complains. He’s soft. He shows your flash where he’s the best player on the field. Not enough. He doesn’t play enough defense. He B —- Es and moans. He is until this point in his career, a loser earning $ 50 million who will be a logjam as long as they try to get to the next level.

“He is coming to the point now as one of the most frustrating players I have ever seen in the uniform of a team that I rooted because I know how good he could be. And it is just so damn annoying to see him not realize that his full potential does not know if it will ever happen. I really do not know.

The former Giants -Linebacker did not take Giannotti’s comments easily.

“This is truly pathetic. Calling a man you’ve never met a ‘loser’ says far more about you than it ever could about him,” wrote Banks on X. “I’ve known Kat and his family when he was a child-there is absolutely nothing about him looking like a loser. Try to be a better human instead of sending this ignorant s —.”

Giannotti fired back against banks.

“Great to hear from you, the killer. You still owe me $ 500 from a look I did for you in 2010 in Pittsburgh,” he wrote.

Cities had 22 points and 14 rebounds in Knicks’ Game 6 losses to Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. He was minus-17 on the floor. He also set three 24-point performances during the series, but Knicks could never really close Pacers defensively.

New York will have another problem to solve than what is happening on the field.

Knicks fired Tom Thibodeau on Wednesday after five seasons and the best end game in 20 years.
