President of France Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from King Charles to visit a state visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8 July to Thursday 10 July, July 10, 2025.
The president and Mrs. Macron are staying at Windsor Castle.
Some details of the visit have now been revealed by Royal Central.
It tweeted, “The King and Queen will officially welcome President Emmanuel Macron of France and Brigitte Macron to a state visit on July 8.
“President and Madame Macron arrive at Raf Northolt, where they will be met by the prince and the princess of Wales.”
It also says, “The Prince and Princess of Wales greet President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron at Raf Northolt and travel with them to Windsor
“King Charles and Queen Camilla offer official welcome in Windsor.”
The king and the queen, president and Mrs. Macron and the Prince and Princess of Wales will participate in a carriage process for Windsor Castle.
“King Charles and President Macron inspect an honorary guard at Windsor Castle,” said it, adding “The King and Queen hosted a lunch to President and Mrs. Macron, participated in members of the royal family.”
The details have been shared after Kate Middleton, earlier this week, visited RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital.
“Wonderful to see Catherine’s rose planted here. 50 has been donated to support staff and patients and bring moments of peace,” said Kate Middleton after the visit.
She added, “grateful to anyone who helped create this special space for well -being, and to all those who work and volunteer here to support patients. Thank you to those who generously shared their stories of improvement.”
