Islamabad:
Pakistan and Kazakhstan are set to sign important agreements next week, aiming to improve maritime trade and cooperation in the blue economy.
Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu visits Pakistan on September 8-9, accompanied by a high-level delegation. During his stay, he will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and other senior leaders.
Lectures at the delegation level between Pakistan and Kazakhstan are also planned.
Agreements on investments in free zones for maritime services are expected as well as collaboration under Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to promote trade, investment and regional partnerships.
