Bad news, animation heads: According to Amazon MGM+, the first two seasons of Helluva chief Won’t arrive in prime video until the end of 2025, but we still don’t know exactly when. Amazingly, the new Prime Video Show has also been ordered in seasons 3 and 4, where these episodes are set to participate in the existing two seasons on YouTube. All this has happened without us once seeing a single scene, and it makes it the first deal of its kind for the streaming service.
Surprising Helluva chief is set as its namesake in hell. The most important protagonist of the show is Blitzo, the leader of IMP (immediate murder people), who is tasked with killing goals in the human world along with a rague -tag crew, in the midst of an ongoing complicated situation with the demon prince chair. It is the most dark comic balance between working life and life you could imagine and becomes more absurdly violent the longer we see.
This description alone makes me want to binge all the show’s episodes right away, but we still have a few months left until its primary video release window (sometime between September and October) arrives. Fortunately, if you are looking through the streamer right now, you will find an equally bonkers animation ready to be streamed while you wait … and if you want my opinion, it’s absolutely unspoken.
Why do I recommend streaming Hazbin Hotel on Prime Video while waiting for Helluva Chief
Look at
You might be thinking Hazbin Hotel looks remarkable Helluva chiefAnd that’s because both animations come from the same creative team. Both shows are set in the same ‘Hellaverse’, with Helluva chief technically a spinoff of Hazbin Hotel (Although with another set of characters, as far as we can see). Basically, diving into the original will only expand your understanding of the show’s lore and help you become fully acquainted with its absolute unhinged approach to entertainment.
In Hellaverse, hell is in itself incredibly overcrowded. Trying to find a non-violent alternative to housing everyone there, Lucifer’s daughter decides to open a rehabilitation hotel where a group of demons try their best to get another chance. It sounds pretty gently written down, but believe me when I say it’s anything but.
Hazbin Hotel is an animation that is not afraid to take its tale direction to the extreme, mixing raw humor with direct musical songs that would even cause the genre’s most productive haters to sing and dance with. Creatively it takes a total detour from what we would typically expect from comic book exhibitions (yes, even those made for adults like Rick & Morty), swinging fans from abominable explicit schoolyard school against incredibly serious topics handled with a deeply light touch.
In short, the primary video animation is not in line with any plan for existing narrative structure, and that is what really makes it sing. Effortlessly diverse in its subject as well as its casting, we have got everything the mind might understand that exist in a cartoon world packed in visual animation styling, we would recognize from our girlfriend’s reminiscent of growing up. Get someone who can do both, as the kids say.
With only eight episodes to stream, fans can do easy work of their Hazbin Hotel Binge in plenty of time to be ready and prepared for Helluva chief. In my opinion, you would like to enjoy every minute or at least go back and see copious amounts of highlight clips on YouTube. If you do not understand what in the ground is going on, you do not really need – there is a method of their madness by keeping us connected.
