Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock is dead.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock is dead,” a representative of the Blackstock family said in a statement.
“Brandon boldly fought cancer for more than three years. He died peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy in this very difficult time.”

For those who are not daring, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock Knuden tied in October 2013 and welcomed daughter River in June 2014 and son Remy in April 2016.
Apart from this brand, Blackstock also shared daughter Savannah, 23, and son Seth, 18, with his ex-wife Melissa Ashworth.
His passing came only one day after Clarkson announced that she was exposing the remaining August dates to her Las Vegas stay to be “fully present” for their children when the former music leader’s condition was aggravated.
