Kelly Clarkson has resumed to record his talk show in the midst of the emotional toll from the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Blackstock died of cancer on August 7, leaving Kelly as a single parent of their children, daughter River Rose, 11, and Son Remington, 9.
Now the singer has returned to work, but seems “fragile and distant” according to an insider.
“She tilt the contact when the cameras roll,” a studio insider told Hollywood -Insider Rob Shuter who shared it in a Substack post. “The audience gets the big Kelly -Energi. But the other lights cut, she’s quiet.”
“She is thinner, more reserved and keeps herself,” an employee claimed. “Everyone loves her, but they care about her wearing too much.”
The show’s crew is concerned about the host who seems to put on a brave face as she is filming season 7 of The Kelly Clarkson show. The new season has Gloria Estefan as the first guest and will include lively performances from Kelly.
“When she is on stage with the band, she is electric. This magic is still there – that’s what makes the whole machine work,” another employee said.
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock got married from 2013 to 2022.
