Khloe Kardashian revealed that she had to forgive herself after years to blame herself “for everything” after the adultery in her ex Tristan Thompson.
In a recent chat about Jay Shetty’s Deliberately Podcast, the 40-year-old Good American founder remembered the repeated cycle of cheating in her previous relationships and how she broke it.
“Well, the interesting part is, I think that the first time it happened I didn’t [make a change]“She felt her time and remembered the time when the NBA player cheated on her first time while she was pregnant with their first child.
“And it’s okay because it’s done. And I also had to forgive myself for it. There was a time that I felt very guilty, like, why did I even get? Why did I not forgive? I would blame myself for everything,” she continued.
However, Khloe reflected that she continued the relationship until she found out a few years later that Tristan was expecting a child with another woman while both expecting their other child via surrogate.
“The second time, you know, my surrogate was still pregnant with Tatum, and the people didn’t know yet I had Tatum,” Khloe told the host. “But I felt so shame that it happened again because I knew I knew better.”
The Star of Reality admitted that she was too hard against herself at the time.
“If you don’t feel responsible in some of the actions you are doing or what someone else is doing against you it’s okay. There will be a day you want to wake up – and listen if I looked at me when I was in my 20s, I would also judge this person and be like,” she’s so stupid. It has to happen again. “I don’t blame people for their judgment,” Mother of two added.
It is relevant to mention that Tristan and Khloe began dating in September 2016 and announced their commitment in 2017.
Before the birth of their first child, daughter true, Tristan allegedly cheated Khloe.
After some time in 2020, however, the couple reconciled and prepared to welcome another child via Surrogati. While Khloe and Tristan expected their son Tatum, she found out that Tristan expected his child with another woman.
Ultimately, the couple stood permanently, but continued to co -parent their children.
