Islamabad:
Tehreek-E-Tahafuz Ain-E-Pakistan leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar on Thursday filed a petition to the Supreme Court requesting the formation of a full court bench in the 26th constitutional amendment.
The petition requested that the majority’s decision in the Practice and Procedure Committee be implemented on 31 October, while the administrative decision regarding non-implementation of the committee’s decision is declared invalid.
The 26th change introduced major reforms into the judiciary, including regulation of SC’s Suo Motu powers.
