King Charles assigns new royal title

King Charles III just gave a new royalty title to the new Aga Khan after the recent death of the previous one.

After Prince Karim Al-Hussaini died at the age of 88 last week, his son, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini, named as Aga Khan V, has been titled “His Highness” by Charles, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace to HELLO!

The reigning British monarch continued the tradition of giving royal status to the 1300-year-old long dynast’s Ismaili Muslim spiritual leader of millions.

Previously, the late Aga Khan had also been awarded the title “His Highness” by Queen Elizabeth II, back in July 1957, two weeks after his grandfather unexpectedly declared him his heir.

King Charles has reportedly been deeply sad by the death of the late Aga Khan, who was not only a billionaire philanthropist, but was also a close friend of both Charles and his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II for many years.

Alongside being one of the basic patrons of the king’s confidence, the Queen’s Filly Estimate, who demanded victory in the Royal Ascots Gold Cup 2013, was an 80 -year birthday gift from the late Aga Khan.

In addition, His Highness Aga Khan IV and all his children including Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, British citizens and remain closely affiliated with Britain.
