A close help of the monarch has revealed that King Charles demonstrated ‘remarkable resilience’ while continuing to receive treatment after he was diagnosed with cancer last year.
This has been said by James Chalmers, who as a keeper for the private purse is the king’s treasurer.
The AFP Quoted Chalmers praising King Charles “Resilience”.
He says the king “demonstrated remarkable resilience by conducting a broad program of public and state tasks at home and abroad while continuing to receive treatment.”
Chalmers made these comments following the monarch’s financial report.
The report also reveals sovereign grants that pay for royal tasks and palaces maintenance remained £ 86.3 million ($ 118.5 million) in the financial year ending in March 2025.
Next year, the subsidy will rise to £ 132 million.
Last year, a British media probe triggered anger after revealing that Royal Husitus estates served on the Public Health Service, charity and individual tenants while taking advantage of greater tax exemptions.
The economic report also says King Charles must end the British monarch’s use of a royal train for the first time since the Victorian era of the 19th century, as part of cost -saving and modernization plans.
