King Charles has once again caused fear of his health in the midst of his ongoing treatment for an undiagnosed form of cancer.
The monarch lifted his eyebrows of his health after he was seen with a bloodshot eye while welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron on Windsor Castle.
Charles, who has been fighting for cancer since February 2024, appeared with a red right eye because of a burst blood vessel.
According to Radar online, Palace sources have rejected fear that the king’s red eye has to do something with his running battle with cancer.
Outlet quoted the Mayo Clinic, which compared a burst blood vessel in the eye with a simple skin labeling and said it is usually not serious.
“A subconjunction bleeding often occurs without any obvious injury to your eye,” they said.
“Even a strong sneeze or cough can cause a blood vessel to break in the eye. You don’t have to treat it.
“A subconjunction bleeding may look alarming, but it is usually a harmless condition that disappears within two weeks or so.”
This comes after a report claimed that King Charles is under pressure to make a decision on Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s royal titles.
A royal commentator said the monarch should be the one who decides whether the Sussex children will keep their royal titles, rather than leaving the decision to Prince William.
Writing for Daily Mail AustraliaSharon Hunt said that the British royal family may follow the example of Denmark’s Queen Margrethe, who removed the titles of four of her grandchildren in 2022 to modernize the monarchy without causing a rift.
She also noted that the move would probably interfere with the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, but it could help avoiding bigger problems in the future.
