King Charles has reportedly decided to prepare Prince William to take the throne after realizing his time on earth is “limited”.
Amid reports that the monarch is reluctant to abdicate his throne in favor of his and the late Princess Diana’s firstborn, a new report claimed that Charles has changed his mind.
talking with Radar onlinea royal insider revealed that Charles has decided to prepare his son to rule and take over the monarchy so he can focus on his cancer treatment.
An insider has revealed that cancer has taken a toll on Charles as he was recently seen in an “emotional” state while speaking to a Church of England elder.
“Charles was visibly emotional with his head buried in his hands at one point,” they said. “This is not the king his subjects are used to seeing and it was extremely disturbing to all who were on hand.”
“The King realizes that his time on Earth is limited,” they continued. “He is now focusing on making peace with God and making sure William is ready to take over when he is gone.”
The source further revealed that the monarch has found peace in religion as “his cancer is literally eating him alive.”
“The situation is becoming unmanageable and forces him to prepare Prince William to take the plunge,” they continued.
They went on to say that Charles is relieved to pass his throne to William and his wife, Kate Middleton, knowing it “will be in safe hands.”
“King Charles is obviously overjoyed that Kate beat cancer for a number of reasons,” the royal insider said. “But on a pragmatic level, he says the monarchy is now in (good) health and in safe hands for another generation.”
