King Charles and Queen Camilla just visited Pope Francis.

When the royal couple took a walk in the Vatican City, a city state surrounded by Rome, Italy and the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, the platform met the leader.

Due to their 20 -year wedding anniversary, Charles and Camilla received the wishes of the pope himself.

By going to their official Instagram, the British monarchs uploaded a picture of them where Camilla can be seen shaking Pope Franci’s hand.

While the high holiness was dressed in the usual white, the royal couple can be seen wearing graceful black ensembles.

The caption began, “A special moment for their majesty when they met his Holiness Pope Francis in the Vatican yesterday.”

“The king and the queen were deeply touched by the pope’s friendly remarks about their 20 -year wedding day and honored by being able to share their best wishes to him personally,” it further said.

This comes after King Charles created history by becoming the first British ruler to tackle a common session for the Italian parliament.
