King Charles, Queen Camilla participates in remembrance of Mark 80 -Year anniversary for VJ Day

King Charles and Queen Camilla participated in the service of memory host of Royal British Legion in partnership with the government, at the National Memorial Arboretum.

King Charles led to memorials on Friday for veterans from World War II and those who lived through the devastating conflict and praised their “courage” as Britain marked the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.

Monarch and Camilla, together with Prime Minister Keir Stormmer, other dignitaries and dozens of veterans of a memorial service for victory over Japan Day at National Memorial Arboretum in central England.

They made wreaths and flowers tribute to the memorial before participants and others across the country observed two minutes of silence at noon.

After the service, the king saw memorials and met members of VJ Associations, including Burma Star Memorial Fund, Chindit Society, Far East -Prisoner of War and Children in Father East War Catcher, in the Far East -corner of the National Memorial Arboretum.

Earlier, in a sound message released prior to the gripping event, King Charles promised “service and victims” to those who “saw the freedom forces victories”, “never be forgotten.”
