King Charles has responded to a sad news from Papua New Guinea, a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
The palace shared King Charles’s heartbreaking message of X, former Twitter handle, heading: “A message of the condolence from the king after Sir Julius Chan -Death in Papua New Guinea.”
King Charles declaration reads: “My wife and I were deeply sad to learn about the loss of Sir Julius Chan. He was a dedicated public servant and devoted his life to help building Papua New Guinea in the strong, independent nation as it is today. His dedication served as inspiration to many, and I remember with great love to meet Sir Julius many times during his decades of service. “
He also said, “My wife and I send our heartfelt compassion to Sir Julius’ family and to all Papua New Guineans as his losses are mourned all over Papua New Guinea.”
The last “Basic Father” of Pacific Island died on January 30 and triggered a tribute to all over the country.
