King Charles Pokes Fun to Trump’s British Roots

King Charles gave a rare insight into Britain and the “special” bond of the United States, while the royal family welcomed President Donald Trump and his family on the State Bank of Diplomatic Dinner.

During the celebration of the US president’s visit to Britain at Windsor Castle, the 76-year-old king over both countries reflected and noticed the “special” dynamic, via People.

He remembered how different things were in 1776 and said, “I can’t help but wonder what our ancestors of 1776 would do of this friendship today,” and noted that President George Washington and his “five times great -grandfather” King George III once swapped harsh words.

The monarch added, “Today, however, we celebrate a relationship between our two countries, which neither Washington nor King George III might have imagined.”

When he remembers his first visit to us when he met President Richard Nixon and escorted by his daughter, Tricia Nixon and almost marry in the Nixon family, the king joked, “the media had succeeded in the 1970s in their own attempt to elaborate on the special relationship I could have been married within the Nixon family.”

Charles also mentioned Trump’s bond with Britain in a guy -hearted way and said, “I understand that British soil gives pretty wonderful golf courses!”
