The first trailer to Wake up dead man: a knife out mystery Have been shown online – and the third movie in the Whodunit movie franchise looks like it will be Benoit Blanc’s most difficult case to solve so far.
Netflix Murder Mystery Movie’s first teaser released today (September 8) is finally lifting the lid on its plot and why it will be Blanc’s “Tasty Role Crew yet”, according to the streaming giant.

One of 2025’s latest Netflix films will watch Daniel Craig repeat his role as the film series’s fan favorite detective. And like the last two Knives out Flicks, Craig, together with a starry ensemble of household names – all of which could be the individual behind the crime in the center of Wake up dead man‘s story.
As far as this crime is concerned, here is a brief synopsis with the permission of a Netflix press release: “After a sudden and seemingly impossible murder the city cuts, the lack of an obviously suspected local police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis) asks to join with the famous detective Benoit Blanc (Craig) to urge a mystery.”

Craig and Kunis – of which the latter hires Knives out 3 Something of a setback among some fans – in spite of Wake up dead manCast is, as I mentioned, full of familiar faces.
It includes the addition of rising stars Josh O’Connor and Cailee Spaeny to Knives out 3‘s role crew in May and a 007 -Genforening between a former James Bond -Star in Craig and Joke Actor Andrew Scott.

What is the release date of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery?
Knives out 3 will be released on Netflix, alias the world’s best streaming service, December 12. Netflix detectives loosely Wake up dead man‘s launch date mystery in the days that led to its magnificent disclosure on Tudum 2025.
However, Mid-December does not mark the film’s actual debut. As I reported on September 2nd, Knives out 3 Gets a limited theater release at the end of November, which means it will be available on the big screen from November 28 until it is released on Netflix.
What do critics already say about knives out 3?
Early reactions to Wake up dead man Make it sound like it will be one of the best Netflix movies of the year.
After its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Knives out 3 At the time of publication – holds a 96% critical rating on the rat tomatoes. Sure it’s based only on 23 reviews but it is nonetheless a better score than its ancestor Glass onionIt sits at 91% on the same review Greening site.
Will Knive Out 3 be the movie series’ Last Rate?
It doesn’t look like. When Netflix signed an exclusive, $ 450m deal with Rian Johnson for the rights to the next two Knives out Movie March 2021, some fans could have feared that Johnson and Craig would bring Blanc’s story close to after Wake up dead man.
However, Craig revealed to talk to Variety at Tiff that he and Johnson are happy to continue making more movies. It’s as long as fans and critics continue to enjoy them, remember you – so if you want blanc back, remember to catch Knives out 3 In theaters and/or on Netflix.
