ISLAMABAD:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi warned on Sunday that the province would not be able to sustain itself for two days if the army were to withdraw, saying the province’s ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lacked the capacity to manage law and order on its own.

Addressing reporters at the Islamabad Press Club, the governor said that intelligence-based operations were inevitable to ensure peace and stability in KP, stressing that the provincial government must extend full support to such endeavours.

He said that without peace, economic activity and business could not function.
