Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government has sent a fresh supply of emergency medicine to medicine to Upper Kurram While maintaining his ongoing helicopter help operations, provincial health adviser Ehtesham Khan said on Monday.
More than 500 kg of emergency medicine, donated by various NGOs and charities, is lifted to the region aboard the provincial government’s MI-17 helicopter.
The supplies are transferred to the medical superintendent of the parachute.
Despite the crisis, the federal government has not yet provided any medicine or financial assistance, Ehtesham Khan said, criticizing passivity.
“People in Kurram continue to look against the Center for Support, but nothing has arrived so far,” he added.
Meanwhile, local authorities report that helicoptervakuations have transported over 230 people across the district, with still flights.
More than 1,200 patients have received medical treatment when relief efforts persist.

Authorities have confirmed their obligation to implement Kohat Peace Accord aiming to stabilize the region. Measures such as escorted convoys are also introduced to ensure public security.
