The Khyberpakhtunkhwa (KP) government has suggested significant increases in traffic violation fines during its financial bill for 2025-26, with a special focus on regulating three -wheeler and limiting minor driving.
For the first time, a separate category for three-wheeled vehicles, including rickshaws and loaders, reported Associated Press from Pakistan (app) Tuesday.
Fines for these vehicles vary from RS200 to RS10,000 depending on the nature of the violation. Non-compliance with route permits will incur a penalty of RS5,000, which will be doubled for repeated offenders.
