Kristin Scott Thomas has a famous career and she is now turning her talent to instruct with her debut, My mother’s wedding.
In an interview with PeopleThe Mission impossible Star looked back at the tragedies she suffered as she discussed her new project.
“I don’t know if you have done any homework,” added the 65-year-old, “but if you read a profile on me, it will not more often, I mean 99 percent of the time,” tragedy hit “or whatever.”
The academic nominated actress added that she “felt it was time to recover” her story through her director’s debut to make her past “and make it something positive and to show that yes, disaster at a young age can be disastrous, and sometimes it just makes you who you are.”
Her husband, John Micklethwait, who co-wrote the movie, credited to Kristen him and said, “I’ve never really written anything-it is his job. He’s very good at organizing and editing and making some kind of story out of a number of events. And that’s what we did and it was really fun.”
Synopsis follows “Three Sisters (Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller and Emily Beecham), who returns to the English landscape of the third wedding of their twice-witnessed mother (Scott Thomas).”
