Peshawar:
Counsel for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister of Information and Public Relations, Attorney Muhammad Ali Saif, announced that peace has been restored in the Kurram district through the diplomatic and determined efforts of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.
According to Saif, the region has been cleared for bunkers and weapons, with a total of about 979 bunkers belonging to both parties destroyed.
In addition, 86 villages have been disarmed and all confiscated weapons and ammunition have been placed in government custody.
He emphasized that the most important source of tension between the two sides was the presence of bunkers and weapons.
By tackling the conflict, the Minister of Chief assigned his personal helicopter for humanitarian help. Through 338 helicopter varies, 29,140 kg of medicine was delivered to the affected areas.
In addition, 9,290 individuals, including patients, were securely evacuated to Peshawar and elsewhere.
Saif added that development work in the area is now progressing fast and RS100 million has been approved for repairing the high-parachinary path.
