“We are sorry to learn about the tragic departure of the former LSU football student-athlete Kyren Lacy,” LSU said in a statement to Pakinomist Digital. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones as well as his former teammates and coaches who are influenced by his passing away.”
The broad recipient, who trained in December and may have been a committee in the upcoming NFL draft, was under investigation in Louisiana in connection with a crash in December leaving a 78-year-old man dead, said officials in January.
He was accused of driving careless-fast and passing in a zone without passage-when the driver turned to avoid lacy and crashed into another vehicle.
He fled from the stage with the crash without calling assistance, said Louisiana State Police. An arrest warrant was obtained for lacy for negligent murder, crime that hit-and-run and ruthless operation of a vehicle.
A magnificent jury was allegedly set to hear evidence in the case on Monday.
