Lahore qalandars make history with record -breaking psl x final hunting

Lahore: Lahore Qalandar’s named their name in Twenty20 Cricket History Sunday by successfully drawing the highest race ever hunting in any T20 final as they dramatically secured Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 title, chasing down 202 ran against Quetta Gladiators with only one ball for extra.

This exciting victory marks the first time a team ever successfully has chased a goal that exceeds 200 races in a T20 last match. The previous record for the highest successful hunting in a T20 final was 200 races, obtained by Kolkata Knight Riders against Kings XI Punjab in 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) final.

In a remarkable fate fate, Quetta Gladiators became the first team that lost a T20 final after sending a score of 200 or more at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Shaheen becomes most successful captain

Adding to Qalandars’ historical triumph cemented Captain Shaheen Afridi his inheritance as the most successful captain of the PSL history. By leading his team to their third PSL title, the 25-year-old left-wing arm Pacer became the first captain to get three championships.

Sikandar Raza hit the winning races to seal the Pakistan Super League title for Lahore Qalandars Sunday, after landing just 10 minutes before thrown after a mad touch from England.

Open Mohammad Naeem scored 46, with half a dozen sixes and a border, and Abdullah Shafique hit 41 to put Lahore on course to make the highest successful hunt in a PSL final.

Lahore sealed their third title after triumphs in 2022 and 2023.

Hasan Nawaz scored a brilliant 76 to lift Quetta to 201-9 after they won the thrown and fought.

When he entered 21-2, Nawaz 67 added to the fourth wicket with Avishka Fernando (29) and 46 with Dinesh Chandimal (22).

Skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi was the choice of Laore’s bowlers by 3-24.

It was Faheem Ashraf (28) who lifted Quetta past 200 and took 23 from the last from Salman Mirza.
