Lahore:
Lahore, who had already witnessed the downturn of seven Indian drones of the armed forces in Pakistan in the first half of the day, found himself swept up in the maelstrom of Indian propaganda.
In the afternoon, several “Phantom” attacks of Indian news channels were reported. However, life in the city remained untouched by the storm and continued as a business as usual.
“Lahore is under attack!” They shouted the breach of almost all Indian media – a story that, as expected, had probably made their way to their desks with the permission of Indian intelligence agencies. This sent a ripple through the Indian media world where business encrypted to get their contacts (journalists) in Lahore to get a comment on the situation.
However, even those on earth in Lahore were surprised by the queries, uncertain about the reality behind the reports.
In an attempt to clear the fog of uncertainty, local journalists quickly reached law enforcement and government officials for confirmation. Despite being fact-controlled and debunked, Indian media stubbornly pushed the tale of phantom attacks.
Then, as on signal, fictitious reports of a missile strike in the Raiwind area emerged, attributed to Indian forces. The propaganda machine threw out another falsehood and muddy the water further.
This marked the second fake breaking story of the day. Previously, war -hungry Indian media had claimed that Laore’s air defense system had been neutralized by Indian drones, forcing the city to suspend its air traffic.
While the closure of aircraft operations was actually due to repeated penetration from India, the allegation of an “air defense neutralization” was thoroughly debunked.
Given India’s relentless aggression, the government practiced caution, and educational institutions were closed until Sunday.
To further strengthen the emergency preparedness, the Chief Minister of the Punjab District Administration ordered supervision of civilian defense exercises. In accordance with this Directive, Rescue initiated 1122 mock exercises across different cities in Punjab.
