Laptop and bag stolen from the mosque in rawalpindi

A theft occurred at a mosque in Rawalpindis Cantt area where a thief stole a laptop and a bag containing valuable objects while the owner was involved in prayer. CCTV recordings have emerged and catch the suspect in action during the incident.

The footage reveals a well -dressed man wearing a black pair of sunglasses, a shirt and pants. He is seen that he picks up a shoulder bag containing a laptop and other belongings from the designated area inside the mosque.

After taking the bag, the thief changed his footwear to the shoes from another worshiper before leaving the mosque.

CCTV shows the thief, originally observing the shoe rack and then randomly takes the bag from the place before moving towards the exit. He wore a black pair of sunglasses and looked to interfere with the other worshipers.

Zia-Ur-Rehman, the victim, filed a complaint with the Cantt police after noting his bag containing a laptop, important documents, a USB and a charger was missing. After reviewing the shooting, police confirmed that an unknown thief had stolen the bag.

Police have registered a case based on the victim’s report. According to DSP Cantt, Mirza Javed Iqbal, the investigation is underway and the suspect is expected to be arrested soon using CCTV proofs.

This incident follows a similar in Lahore, where a thief stole a laptop from another mosque just the day before.
