- Official Google Pixel 9A photos seem to be leaked
- They show four colors including what seems to be a new purple version
- Google also seems to be ditching the iconic camera linebul
If the rumors are to be believed, Google Pixel 9A could make its official debut sometime later this month-but while we wait, an abundance of leaked images have found their way online showing the medium-haired handset.
These photos come from the well -known tipster @evleaks, and appear to be official marketing photos from Google. We look at all four colors – obsidian (black), porcelain (white), peony (pink) and iris (purple) – although the purple that contains the most.
Some important Android features appear on these images, such as access to the Google Gemini AI assistant and built-in theft protection. There are also some lifestyle shoots that show the phone in use in different scenarios.
One of the images shows that Pixel 9A is sprayed with water, which causes us to believe it will preserve IP67 dust and water resistance in the Google Pixel 8A launched last year and which this handset will replace.
Ready for a close up
These leaked images also give us a close -up of a controversial design selection that Google has apparently made with Pixel 9A: The iconic Pixel Camera Bar Bump disappears, with the rear camera sitting almost rinsed against the back of the device.
You can see from one of these pictures that there is what seems to be a very small camera – and we mean easy. It suggests that the phone does not actually lie perfectly flat on your back when you put it down.
It is a bold feature for Google to remove the one design choice that made the Pixel series characteristic, but it is a trait that has been rumored for a while. It is possible that Google wants to get his middle-class phones and its flagship phones look less at each other.
Whatever the thinking is, all this will be officially very soon. Most rumors point to Wednesday, March 19, as the launch date of Pixel 9A – and of course, as soon as Google is announcing its message, we will bring you the news here.
