- Rumored prices for RTX 5060 TI 8GB and 16 GB models have emerged
- The good news is that we should not see a price increase with these GPUs
- However, we cannot see MSRP -Fald as Nvidia apparently plans to stick to the same prices seen with RTX 4060 Ti models
It seems that Nvidia will stick to its prize weapons with the incoming RTX 5060 TI, and that the two flavors on this graphics card will cost about the same as existing models of the RTX 4060 TI.
Videocardz pointed out a post on the Board Channel Forum (a regular source of supply chain delicious over in China) that outlines jerky price information, but is obviously very skeptical here.
The competition – and remember possible translation. Although later in the post it talks about having the same price for these GPUs – so the overall mood is that the price tags will be identical or very close for the RTX 5060 Ti models.
For a long time, Grapevine has now insisted that NVIDIA will produce RTX 5060 Ti in two spins, with 8 GB and 16 GB of video RAM, just the same as the existing RTX 4060 TI boards.
MSRP or the recommended price for RTX 4060 TI 8GB is $ 399 (in the US), and for the 16 GB version it’s $ 499, so the guest rate here is that RTX 5060 Ti will follow.
Or maybe, if we are lucky, we can see a slight fall, but the leaks seem to believe that the new Blackwell equivalents of these more affordable GPUs (compared to the rest of the range) will be pretty much the same. So if there is any difference it will be less.
Analysis: Best plans?
It is worth repeating the advice to pile on the skepticism here, as board channels are not always the most reliable source in my experience – but that said, I would also not call it unreliable. The somewhat vague language in the post also gives a break for thought, although to some extent it could be wrapped in translation problems.
Given Nvidia’s philosophy with so far Blackwell pricing, I certainly do not expect an increase. Mainly considering that the RTX 5070 is stuck with the same price tag as the RTX 4070, and in fact the RTX 5080 fell slightly versus its predecessor (and RTX 5070 ten dipped slightly). The RTX 5090 was the Outlier, as its MSRP was chopped significantly up-and has been wandered well over it to soaring levels-but there are reasons for what does not apply to other Blackwell GPUs (namely its crossover with the world of AI graphics).
To adhere to the same prize arrangement as the jerk here feels very likely to me, as Nvidia (theoretically) has the same problem it faces with the Lovelace generation, with the XX60 TI-Class model with 16 GB VRAM actually has more memory than the higher level XX70 model, equipped with 12 GB and so the company that company pushes almost to make it This view of being shortened by 12 GB feels even more much in this new generation of NVIDIA graphics cards.
In summary, I think this sounds a probable price plan, though it might just be – the current one level. In other words, the rumor mill may be correct in its claim here, and Nvidia may be mulled this exact prize arrangement right now, but Team Green could still have a heart change at the last minute. Let’s hope it is for the better if this happens and we could just see a slight reduction in pricing for these more affordable Blackwell GPUs.
Can you tell that I am not convinced? As long as we do not see a boost in pricing, that’s the most important thing. But given Nvidia’s situation with goodwill from players these days – or lack of it since this year began – I really don’t see how the company could even consider a hike with its RTX 5060 models. I guess foreign things have happened (‘UnalaCling’ a GPU jumps in mind).
These RTX 5060 ten graphics cards are expected to arrive soon in the middle of the month of April 16 (with a reveal that was jerked for the day before April 15). There is also nothing scraped about RTX 5060 pricing here, which appears to be backed up by the notion that Vanilla GPU later is due in mid-May self-allegedly it could also be revealed on April 15 (maybe Sans pricing). Again, chuck on the spice liberally, but there is no lack of tips and rumors that these graphics cards are close to release.
