The country’s civil and military leadership has violated the nation of the 27th YouM-E-Takbeer as they pay tribute to Pakistan’s nuclear journey and call for renewed unity and determination to transform the nation into a financial power.

In their separate messages, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the chairman of the Personnel Committee (CJCSC) and the service managers emphasized that YouM-E-Takbeer is a tribute to the foresight of visionary leadership and brilliance of Pakistani scientists and engineers.

Yom-e-Takbeer on May 28 (today) recalls the great apartment in 1998, when Pakistan emerged as a nuclear power-where the strategic balance in South Asia and claimed its sovereign right to self-defense.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also called on in his separate announcement to renewed national entity and determination.

The Prime Minister linked this year’s Memorial Day with Pakistan’s recent success in defending himself against “an unjustified war imposed by India”.
