The pace starts to pick up when it comes to the iPhone 17 leaks and rumors, and some new images of dummy devices for all four expected models have now found their way online, giving us a detailed look at the different designs that Apple has been working on.
These images come with permission from the well-known tipster @sonydickson and cover iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max-as we have heard can actually be called iPhone 17 Ultra.
Dummy devices are often displayed prior to telephone launches: They are based on schedules taken from the supply chain and they help producers produce cases and other accessories to get their items ready in time for the actual launch day.
This means that these are just metal blocks – there is no electronics inside them and we cannot look at the phones in action, but we can see the sizes and contours of the handsets to be debuted in September.

The iPhone 17 seems to be the only one of these phones that won’t get a noticeable redesign: It will look like much like iPhone 16, based on this leak and earlier we’ve seen. However, the other models apparently get raised camera rabs on the back.
These dents are the largest on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max as these handsets are set to have the most cameras. The Pixel-style camera-style camera could be made of another material or come in a different color, according to previous rumors.
Then there is the iPhone 17 Air, which is said to replace the iPhone 16 Plus. We can also see the camera’s bump on this model, as well as how thin it is compared to the other three handsets – some leaks suggest that it is as thin as 5.5 mm, at the front of the back.
We will have to wait another six months for all this to be confirmed of course, but we have now seen a significant number of leaks showing the same design. Without a doubt, more details will emerge before the day of launch.
