Samsung is expected to reveal a more affordable flip -folding phone along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the middle of this year, and an extended set of leaked reproductions has now given us more of an idea of its design.
The gutters were created by @onleaks and sent on Sammyguru and are based on leaked information from Samsung’s supply chain. There is a good chance that this is what the phone will look like, though nothing is safe until it is official.
It seems that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 launched last year in terms of its design – though it will be a little thicker than the flagship flip that came before it.
To get it at a lower price point, Samsung may try to save some money with the materials and the internal components of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: The rumors are that it may come with the Samsung Exynos 2400 processor inside, which also runs some Galaxy S24 models.

Right now we don’t have much idea of how much cheaper Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be than Galaxy Z Flip 7 – and we’re not sure the name either. It can simply be called Galaxy Z Flip Fe.
As for the design, it might be no bad thing that it follows the Galaxy Z Flip 6 so close. In our Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 review, we described the design as “solid”, “refined” and “durable”, so there’s not much wrong with it.
It is interesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE apparently follows the same cover screen design as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 because the flagship model for this year-galaxy Z Flip 7 is scraped to have a full-size tire screen that is also expanded around the cameras.
Another rumor we have heard about the flagship model is that it gets a larger battery packed inside. We expect all of these handsets to be launched in July, a year after the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were revealed.
