- Another Walmart Google TV box has been viewed
- This can be walmart onn 4K plus
- The device has apparently been part of an early test program
We know that there are no more Google Chromecasts on the Road-with Google TV streamer that acts as a replacement in Google’s own smart home lineup and it looks like Walmart has another Chromecasting box in Pipeline.
After from Walmart onn 4K Pro, we saw released last year, there are now signs of a Walmart Onn 4K plus over Home Tester Club (via 9to5Google). Several reviews have been left by the gadget along with pictures of the packaging and its content.
It seems that the device may have been released early as part of a limited test program before being revealed properly by Walmart. Feedback on Walmart Onn 4K Plus seems to be mostly positive with praise for its simplicity and low price.
This price is not specifically mentioned, so we will have to wait for clarity about it. 2024 Walmart Onn 4K Pro costs $ 49.88, while the default onn box is only $ 19.88, so it should be between these two points (these gadgets are not available internationally).
Smart specifications
There are some tips for the specifications of Walmart onn 4K plus from the reviews and pictures. In addition to 4K-Videooutput with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Support, we also have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage.
As for the chipset, it is said to be a quad-core chip with a G310 V2 GPU that the 9TO5GOOGLE team thinks could be Amlogic S905x5m-It is a newer chip than the one found in the onn 4K Pro that Walmart sells.
However, the PRO box has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. This new device seems to be more a replacement for the basic ONN box that was launched back in 2023, and is now pretty outdated with 2 GB of RAM and only 8 GB of storage on board.
We have not yet heard anything official from Walmart yet, but given that there is now a month’s value of reviews of ONN 4K plus online, it shouldn’t be too long before the streaming gadget is out and available to buy with Google TV on board.
