LeBron James reached another milestone in his unprecedented NBA career on Tuesday and became the first player to score 50,000 total points after hit a three pointers in the first quarter of Lakers’ home match against the Pelicans.
James participated in the competition with 49,999 combined regular seasonal and playoff points and drained a shot from deep to add another landmark moment to the great career of ‘King James.’
James, 40, already has the most common season points after breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record at all times in February 2023, a brand that had been standing for 39 years.

The native Akron, Ohio, also has the playoff scoring record, a title he took from Michael Jordan in May 2017.
James has shown no sign of slowing down in his 22nd season in the league.
He was named the Western conference player this month of February and expanded his league record at 41 monthly prices, including three with Lakers.
He is also the oldest player who wins the award and passes the previous record set by Karl Malone (37 years) with Utah Jazz in November 2000.
Four-time NBA champion James and Lakers have been in a tear since acquired Luka Doncic from Dallas Mavericks in a fantastic trade for Anthony Davis last month.
They participated in Tuesday’s competition in a six-game-winning series and have shot up to second place at the western conference.
