While most people were sleeping, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers pulled a fantastic blockbuster leading to Luka Dončić and Anthony Davis swapped teams.
The deal is perhaps one of the most star-studded ever as it is the first time in the NBA History Two reigning all-NBA players were traded in the middle of the season.

There are plenty of questions that need to be answered, primarily on the Dallas page of things, as it is shocking that a team would trade a 25-year-old MVP candidate with Global Starpower Frisk from an NBA final performance.

A report from CBS Sports, however, said LeBron James “had been frustrated” with Davis, on average over 25 points and a dozen rebounds while playing elite defense.
James’ Lakers defeated Knicks shortly before the trade broke, but James hasn’t talked to journalists about the move yet (Davis was inactive), but James saw the report on X and broke his question of confidentiality actually.

James is said to have found out the trade shortly before the news broke on X while he was out for dinner with his family after Las Victory. It is reported that Mavs only reached Lakers and would only acquire Davis if it meant moving Dončić. Apart from the organizations facing trade, it is said that no one else knew what was going on behind the scenes.
Lakers received Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris, while Mavericks took over Davis, Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 first round. To run it all, Utah Jazz acquired Jalen Hood-Schifino and two choices in the second round.

The Slovenian led the NBA with 33.4 points per year. Match last season and won’t be 26 until later this month. In his career an average of 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists, which puts itself in the MVP conversation every year in his young career.
