LeBron James played the hero of Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in the team’s victory over Indiana Pacers.
Los Angeles withdrew Indiana 119-118 with a few seconds left in the game. Luka Doncic dribbled into the field and tried his best to get his team victory. The shot was off and James entered the paint and tilted the ball into the basket before the buzzer sounded.

Lakers won, 120-119.
“I just tried to read the ball from the edge,” James said. “It looked a bit like it was a little short, but I knew it had a chance to jump in if it hit the front edge. When it first came out, I would like to press it for enough time. It was clear that you could probably see me looking at Jumbotron to see if I actually got it in time and it was a good game for us.”
James ended with 13 points and expanded his double -digit scoring stretch to 1,283 straight matches.
“That’s what it takes to help your teammates win,” he said. “I can do other things to influence the game, it’s the beauty of my game, I’ve always built it all my life, as far as being three -dimensional, being able to get my guys involved, being able to rebel, defend and sprinkle some points here and there.”

Lakers allowed Pacers back in the game in the third quarter. Indiana was down with as many as 17 points, but was only down before the last period began.
“Obviously, I know I can score the ball,” he said. “But until we find a small rhythm offensively or whatever the case, the defensive side is the most important for our ball club.”
